Lessons

Tennis lessons built around your game

Every player arrives from a different starting point, so I personalize the hour around your age, experience and what you want to get better at.

  1. 1Request a lesson using the short form.
  2. 2Tell me a little about yourself and when you're available.
  3. 3I'll get back to you to confirm the details and the location.
  4. 4We get on court and work on what matters for your game.

Who I coach

How lessons adapt to the player

Examples of the players I work with and what a lesson tends to focus on for each of them.

One-on-one attention

The whole hour goes to your game, with nothing shared.

I teach one-on-one by default, so we spend the hour on what you actually need. We start with what you want to improve and work through it with focused repetition and feedback you can use on your own.

Best for

  • Players who want undivided attention
  • Anyone with a specific stroke or habit to fix
  • People who prefer learning without an audience

New to tennis

Start with the fundamentals, done properly, from your first hour.

If you are new, we work on grip, stance, contact point, and simple movement. The goal for your first few lessons is straightforward: rally comfortably, serve to start a point, and enjoy being on the court.

Best for

  • Complete beginners
  • Anyone who has never taken a lesson
  • Players who learned casually and want proper technique

Improving players

Turn shots that sometimes work into shots you can rely on.

If you can rally but lose consistency, we tighten things up: earlier preparation, cleaner contact, smarter court positioning, and depth control so rallies stop breaking down under pressure.

Best for

  • Players who can rally but lose consistency
  • Anyone stuck at the same level for a while
  • Players preparing for league or social match play

Competitive players

Sharpen patterns, strategy and composure under pressure.

For competitive players we move past mechanics into how points are actually won: serve placement, first-strike patterns, defending and resetting, and better decisions in long rallies.

Best for

  • Tournament and league players
  • High school and club competitors
  • Players who win practice but lose matches

Kids and juniors

Coordination, confidence and technique at the right pace.

With kids I stay patient and encouraging. Younger players work on balance, hand-eye coordination, and simple technique with age-appropriate equipment. Older juniors move into full-court play and competition skills.

Best for

  • Kids trying tennis for the first time
  • Juniors preparing for school teams
  • Families who want a positive first sports experience

Adult players

Learn, improve, or come back to the game on your schedule.

Adult lessons fit around real life. Whether you are picking up a racquet for the first time, getting back into shape, or preparing for club matches, we work with the time you actually have.

Best for

  • Adult beginners
  • Players returning after years away
  • Adults who want an active hobby

Pricing

Rates depend on how long the lesson is, whether it's one-on-one or semi-private, and the court we use. There are no packages or memberships — send me a request and I'll confirm exact pricing before anything is scheduled.
