Tennis lessons for intermediate players

Turn shots that sometimes work into shots you can rely on.

The intermediate plateau is real and it is frustrating. You can rally, you can serve, you can win points — but the same errors keep showing up at the same moments and your level has not moved in a year. In my experience that is almost never a talent ceiling. It is usually late preparation, a contact point that drifts, or a recovery position that leaves you defending the wrong side of the court.

So we find out which of those is costing you the most, then rebuild it under live pressure instead of in a static drill, so it survives contact with an actual opponent. Same lesson, same request form — the hour is just aimed at the part of your game that has stalled.

If you can rally but lose consistency, we tighten things up: earlier preparation, cleaner contact, smarter court positioning, and depth control so rallies stop breaking down under pressure.

What you’ll walk away with

  • Earlier preparation and a cleaner, repeatable contact point
  • Depth and margin so rallies stop breaking down
  • Better recovery positioning between shots
  • Fewer unforced errors on the points that matter

Best suited to

  • Players who can rally but lose consistency
  • Anyone stuck at the same level for a while
  • Players preparing for league or social match play

One service, one price

There's no separate package for this — it's a normal tennis lesson with me. Rates depend on the length of the lesson, whether it's one-on-one or semi-private, and the court we use, and I confirm the exact price before anything is scheduled.

I'll send you the lesson location when I confirm your request.
